Permanent Junior HR BP, £35,300-£42,500, Bedford/ Luton-Hybrid.

Hays are excited to represent an excellent opportunity for a permanent Junior HR BP, within a large, established public sector organisation, who positively impact and enrich lives, this is a hybrid role, part-time hours will be considered.

Your new role
As a permanent Junior HR BP, you will report to an HR People Partner and will be responsible for both operational and strategic HR duties.
Duties will include:

  • You will Business Partner senior management and their teams and develop an understanding of their business plans and HR issues to ensure workforce plans are identified and delivered to.
  • Support with change management projects to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Provide support and guidance on highly complex or sensitive ER matters.
  • Use HR management information to highlight areas of concern or issue and to help influence pro-active, positive steps to improve and change processes.
  • Act as an advocate of change for all employees of the organisation, educating and coaching managers and employees.
  • Work with individual managers in achieving continuous improvement. Making proposals for the development of strategy, policies and processes.
  • Providing coaching and training sessions to your management teams.
  • You will either be based in Luton or Bedford 2 days a week and will be required to travel to sites in the local areas on those days and can be home based 3 days per week.


What you'll need to succeed
You must have experience ideally as a Junior HR BP or Senior HR Advisor, who has a wealth of experience managing ER cases from end-end, training managers on HR best practice, managing the end-end recruitment and selection process and ideally supporting with some HR change projects. You must have experience in large organisations and public sector experience would be advantageous. You must be Qualified to level 5 of the CIPD or above or equivalent, you must have your own transport and full-clean driving licence.
