Were seeking an experienced HR Manager working remotely / some travel to support sites across the South Coast


We have a great opportunity for an experienced HR Manager or perhaps a Senior HR Advisor to join a regional organisation operating across the South of England. This role is for an initial 6 months fixed term contract with scope for longer term. Working from Home/remotely you will provide a comprehensive HR service to managers and department leads supporting on all aspects of employer relations, change and people management.

Key Duties

  • Provide comprehensive HR advice and guidance to managers on all aspects of HR & People Management including Employer Relations, People Development, Skills requirements and change management including restructures and possibly TUPE.
  • Support managers in with the development of their teams, reviewing skills requirements and personal development plans.
  • Provide guidance and support for managers on all aspects of employment law, HR Policy, procedures and best practice
  • Provide guidance and support on grievance, disciplinary, employee absence, sickness and ensuing organisational policy and procedure.
  • Work with Managers to ensure the People Management Strategy is implemented
  • Support Managers on planning and implementation of organisational changes.
  • Work with the managers on recruitment and selection policy and procedure, Including advice on the recruitment processes, selection methods and attending senior level interview panels if required
  • Ensure that effective induction arrangements are in place
  • Work with Managers to develop effective staff communication and involvement.
  • Work with Managers and Trade Unions representatives to resolve complex ER and engagement issues.
  • Provide guidance on aspects of staff health, wellbeing in the workplace and promoting equality & Diversity
  • Support managers to deliver TUPE transfers, developing consultation documents, support the consultation process and delivering the required due diligence in line with TUPE and internal requirements.


Candidates
Were seeking experienced HR Manager, HR Business Partner or possibly Senior HR Advisor/Advisor who has a broad comprehensive background of HR, ER and guidance to managers on all aspects of People Management.

You will need to demonstrate skills and experience in : -

  • Coaching, supporting and guidance to Managers on all aspects of People Management, Policy & Procedures
  • Experience of case management of complex employee relations cases (disciplinaries, grievances, attendance management etc).
  • Experience of Change including the coordination of change management activities including restructures, TUPE transfers
  • Experience of at least 3 years' at Senior HR Advisor / HR Advisor / HR Manager / HRBP or relevant experience
  • Ideally experienced in complex unionised environments such as public sector,
  • CIPD Qualified to minimum of level 5


The Offer

  • The role is offered on an initial 6 months fixed term with scope for longer term
  • You will be able to work remotely from home but will need the ability to travel to sites on the South Coast on very occasional basis and this will be planned
  • Full time preferred but flexible working available and possibly 4 days per week for the right individual
