HR Advisor, £35,000 Per Annum, Bellshill
Macmillan Davies are working on with a leading and pioneering national logistics business who are looking to attract a HR Advisor to join their growing team on their Bellshill site. This role will function to advise and support both managers and employees on end-to-end HR including engagement, disciplinary, grievance, sickness absence management, policies, and procedures.
About the role:
Dealing with all employee administration
Supporting Managers and employees at HR meetings, preparing letters, notes and invites to meetings.
Providing advice and guidance to Line Managers on best practice and policies where required
Be able to support with restructuring programmes including TUPE
Overseeing disciplinary, capability and grievance cases and end to end management of all ER cases
Reviewing HR policies and procedures
Ensuring all personnel files are up to date
Dealing with absence management
To ensure GDPR compliance across the business
Ad hoc HR Projects as required
About You
We are looking for a highly experienced HR Advisor who has ideally had solid experience within a logistics or supply chain environment and is also able to demonstrate:
Previous solid background of working within a fast-paced, KPI driven unionised environment (Logistics or Supply Chain preferred but not essential)
Proven track record of working within an environment of constant change
Sound experience in managing a wide range of employee relations case work
Strong organisational skills, ability to manage own workload autonomously as well as working excellently within a team.
Excellent communication skills
Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines.
Excellent problem-solving skills
