As a HR Advisor you will provide a full advisory service to managers, employees and stakeholders. You will take a lead on grievances, disciplinaries, performance reviews and managing ER caseloads.

Page Personnel have partnered with a well established mining organisation based in North Yorkshire. They are looking for a HR Advisor to join them on a full time and permanent basis. The successful applicant will be based across two sites in Scarborough and Whitby.

Description

The successful HR Advisor will:

  • Coach, support and provide comprehensive advice on company policies, best practices, procedures and processes to managers and employees
  • Manage end to end ER caseloads, including conducting investigations and interviews, and proposing solutions and dispute resolution
  • Builds and maintain relationships with managers, supervisors and employees
  • Work closely with managers and employees to improve work relationships and credibility of the HR team to build morale and increase productivity and retention
  • Keep up to date with employment laws and best practice tools of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance
  • End to end recruitment processes including the full onboarding & offboarding process
  • Follow company health and safety standards and reporting any unsafe acts or conditions
  • Profile

    As a HR Advisor you will have:

  • CIPD Level 5 qualification or equivalent
  • Demonstrable experience in a similar HR Advisory role
  • Up to date knowledge of employment laws
  • Ability and confidence to ensure compliance with employment legislation across all HR activity and assume a 'best practice' approach to all HR tasks, advice and recommendations.
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Experience of dealing with confidential information
