Oakleaf Partnership are representing a Manchester- based financial services firm who offer specialist solutions to clients globally. They are recruiting for a Compensation and Benefits Manager to lead the design, implementation, administration, communication and ongoing evaluation of the Company's compensation and benefits programs, policies and procedures. It will ensure that compensation and benefits programs support the Company's business objectives and meet all local statutory / regulatory requirements. It will also work closely with global colleagues on resolving HR systems, operational and administration issues. Additionally, it will help establish clear mapping of controls and delineation of duties across the Payroll team.

What is the role?

Compensation aspect of the role : To ensure all compensation programs are managed and operated on a fully compliant basis i.e. adhere to all local statutory / regulatory requirements. Manage audit of all Europe compensation and cash incentive plan data held in the HR System (Workday), highlight differences, investigate and resolve these . Perform analysis for base and variable compensation, job evaluations, framework for salary structures, salary grades and salary ranges including market data, survey participation and providing guidance on salary benchmarking to manage employee compensation challenges

Benefits aspect of the role : Ensure all benefits including leave benefits and Wellbeing related benefits are managed and operated on fully compliant basis i.e. adhere to all local statutory / regulatory requirements. Manage performance and service delivery of all benefits vendors, brokers, consultants and systems providers, resolving issues promptly and safeguarding the interests of the Company .

Candidate Profile and Experience

  • Significant relevant experience in Reward including interaction with Payroll and HRIS.
  • Technical knowledge of compensation theory, practices and applicable laws.
  • Appetite to challenge constructively and bring colleagues along on the journey
  • Ability to work with and maintain confidential information
