Join a supportive and friendly team on a 12 month FTC. This role is unique with its hours and truely supports a work life balance. You must have at least 2 years experience of onboard new starters within a HR team.

Client Details

The client is a large retail / leisure company, established since 1967 and continuing to develop and change.

Description

  • Collating information from new starters in order to create their employee record and enable payments to be made to the employee.
  • Liaising with managers to ensure details are correct, such as location of work, job title and salary.
  • Producing contracts and other associated documents, including change of Terms and Conditions.
  • Chasing and collecting employee references from nominated businesses.
  • Obtaining approval from directors for any proposed salary change.
  • Maintaining clear and accurate records of all open cases (via an Excel spreadsheet) to ensure there is an audit trail for all changes that are processed.
  • You must be able to effectively navigate the HR/Payroll system to input the required data.
  • You will be required to communicate effectively with the payroll and benefits departments.
  • Conduct inductions with new members of staff
  • Monitoring the right to work documents provided by retail staff and action if required.
  • Being involved with the administration of appropriate documentation related to company's Long Term Sickness process.

Profile

  • At least 2 years experience of working on HR/Payroll software
  • Preferably we would like the role holder to have previous experience with the ResourceLink system
  • Must be an effective communicator (both written and verbal) as this role will involve liaising with staff at all levels and across multiple departments.
  • You must be able to demonstrate strong organisational skills.
  • Strong attention to detail is required.
  • Must be experienced in using the Microsoft Office applications.
