Hays HR are currently recruiting for a Global business based in Leeds City Centre who are currently recruiting for an experience HR Advisor for a 12 month fixed term contract.

Support the Head of HR in the development and implementation of an annual agenda for HR strategy. This role will review and ensure all HR policies are in line with current legislation and best practice and implement any required changes where necessary. While ensuring the HR Team works with full compliance to GDPR, ISOs and best practice.

Recruitment & Selection

  • Conduct interviews at all levels as required and take responsibility for the co-ordination of the full onboarding process, including induction where necessary.
  • Continuously review the recruitment processes and implement continuous improvement to increase the quality of hires.
  • Ensure the HR team undertake UK Right to Work checks for all employees in line with the latest statutory requirements.


Employee Engagement

  • Support the Head of HR on developing the Company employee engagement and retention strategy.
  • Suggest new ways to increase / improve employee engagement and employee retention.
  • Collate and communicate the annual Employee Engagement Survey.
  • Continuously review new trends and projects to increase employee retention and engagement.
  • Work on improving employer brand and promotion of the company to become an employer of choice.
  • Research and implement new projects regarding Health & Wellbeing, Diversity & Inclusion.


Employee Development

  • Support the implementation of a robust appraisal process.
  • Keeping training materials up to date.
  • Produce training materials and manuals.
  • Management of all training materials of company.
  • Promote and coordinate the Apprenticeship Schemes.


Employee Relations

  • Advise managers on the complex employee relations matters.
  • Create and manage up to date employee relations materials.
  • Advise managers on more complex employee terms and conditions of employment.
  • Deal with any performance or grievance issues in a legally compliant and professional way.
  • Undertake appeal hearings as necessary.


Other

  • Ensure new employee and leaver details are input and 100% accurate on the system.
  • Ensure employee pay and benefit system records are accurate.
  • Support Head of HR in Salary Review Process.
  • Support the development and implementation of a remuneration and employee benefits policy.
  • Develop a comprehensive employee benefits package including Company pension schemes including providing the necessary information to employees and the pension provider.
  • Research and develop new benefits for all the employees.
  • Manage the relationships with the benefit suppliers.
