Job Details
Employee Relations Manager - 6 month FTC but may be extended as it is to cover someone who is long term sick.
My client is a top, global accounting and advisory firm, who are market leaders with over 50,000 employees worldwide and c. 7,000 people in the UK. They are looking for an Employee Relations Manager to join their team.
With continued success in the market, recently experiencing 10%+ YOY growth, they consistently ensure they maintain a great company culture, collaborative atmosphere and positive working environment, often getting feedback from their employees to listen to any concerns and suggestions. Sustainability is also a core value of theirs, as they run carbon-neutral offices.
Responsibilities for the role include but are not limited to:
- Providing advice and guidance to HR, People Managers and business stakeholders, including Partners, on a wide range of matters such as: disciplinaries, grievances, discrimination, contractual matters, restructures, conflict resolution, capability, settlement agreements, policy interpretations etc.
- Responsibility for the day-to-day team support, development and coaching of an ER Advisor and Assistant ER Manager.
- Review and recommend HR policies and processes
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stkeholders and support the Senior ER Manager with firm-wide projects
Requirements:
My client favours a professional services or retail background but most importantly candidates MUST have experience as an ER Manager/ER Specialist - not just ER experience within a generalist HR role as part of their work.
