  • 10 month FTC maternity cover
  • Salary: paying up to £75000, plus end of contract bonus and 10% pension, 30 days holiday

Oakleaf Partnership is representing a successful and award-winning Financial Services SME. They are looking for a Senior HR Manager to work closely with the HR Director and manage a small team. You will be providing a mix of strategic and operational support to the business, providing an excellent colleague experience, coaching and influencing line managers and delivering the People agenda to support business objectives.

What is the role

Supporting the HR Director and working with the Executive Board and SLT, you will be managing a small team to deliver across the entire employee lifecycle. You will identify solutions relating to all People matters, oversee and support with activities such as Talent Acquisition, Employee Development, Employee Relations, ad hoc Project Management and coaching/developing the HR team. You will also be required to utilise data and analysis to drive better people management decision making, develop policies and initiatives, assist with any OD, empower managers to create high performing teams, support with the L&D strategy and delivery. This is a fantastic role where you can utilise your skillset to add value to the entire business!

Skills & Experience

  • To apply you must be an experienced Generalist within Financial Services or Professional Services and have experience of working in an SME.
  • You must have experience in managing and developing a small team
  • Demonstrate strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills and strong decision-making skills
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to influence different business areas and management levels
  • Demonstrate commerciality and a strong knowledge of employment law
  • Demonstrate the use of your analytical skills to solve problems and identify solutions
  • A motivated self-starter with the ability to adapt to different business needs
