Job Details

Many established HR professionals aspire to take their skills into an independent consulting environment where they can provide best practice support and solutions to a variety of start-up and growing SMEs. Guess what? That opportunity has just landed on your doorstep.

We are Meraki HR, a passionate team of HR Consultants providing a full range of advice and solutions to an enviable client base; solving their people challenges, helping them to grow and become great places to work. And through reputation and referral we’re experiencing growth of our own.
In joining us, you’ll take ownership of a range of clients across a variety of sectors; understanding their cultures, challenges and helping to shape and implement solutions. You’ll encounter pretty much everything HR-related in this role, so here’s just a few examples:

•    Client audits and regular update meetings to implement and measure improvements based on our findings
•    Contract and policy development and implementation
•    Redundancies, re-structures and TUPE Transfers
•    Interaction with the client and their employees/prospective employees as you help and support them with their recruitment, resignations, employee relations, performance management, and basically anything else that crops up!

Flexibility and adaptability are absolutely key in this role. Regardless of the issues, you’ll tailor your approach to the maturity of the HR experience for each client. You’ll balance listening, understanding, education, guidance, information and solutions to ensure not only the right advice is given to our clients, it’s understood and implemented too.

So bring your strong interpersonal skills, your solutions focussed approach, your commercial awareness, as well as your thirst to keep learning about the changing world of HR and the best practices happening in our profession, along with your comfort in dealing with both the tactical and the strategic side of HR. Show us how you can be our new team member, and a proud ambassador for all that’s good about our business, reflected in the service and success we provide our clients.

To apply, please send your CV and covering letter telling us why you are the right person by no later than Friday 9th June 2023.

We will hold a virtual interview and skills assessment with anyone we shortlist for the role to get to know you and give you the opportunity to get to know more about us too. Final interviews will then be held in Bicester on the 21st June, so please ensure you are available to attend an in-person interview on this date.

Salary: £50,000 - £60,000 basic salary and a bonus potential of £18,000 per annum

Location: Oxfordshire/Buckinghamshire/Warwickshire or Cumbria but fully remote working from home
Hours: Full-time over 5 days, with flexible start and finish times.

We help you attract, develop and retain the best people, working side-by-side with you, and your team, to make your business a great place to work!
