Payroll Team Leader, £35,000 Per Annum, Wigan (Hybrid Working)

Macmillan Davies are delighted to be working with a national and leading logistics business who are looking for a Payroll Team Leader to join their growing team.

This role is an excellent opportunity to work within a highly successful and leading HR team and will function to assist with all aspects of colleagues pay cycle.

About the role:

* Overseeing the Time & Attendance data to ensure the accurate recording of information.
* Working alongside the HR Systems Manager to ensure pay data and reporting information is correct.
* Responsible for calculating all payments and adjustments in relation to absence.
* Running the monthly pensions assessment process
* Creation and management of all company benefits
* Responsible for monthly uploads of all additional payments and absence data
* Providing accurate reporting for Finance and third parties as required
* Helping the Payroll Manager in the development and roll out of any colleague benefits.
* Responsible for the maintenance of all online Colleague Records
* Reporting and submissions to the HMRC as required.
* Overseeing two Junior members of Payroll and mentoring other members of the team
* Managing the payroll inbox and all queries


About You:

* Relevant Payroll/CIPP qualification
* At least 2 years' in a similar role within Payroll.
* Previous experience of working with numerous payroll systems.
* Resilient and supportive Team player with the ability to work independently.
* Excellent communication and time management skills
* Experience of working in a fast-paced & changing environment

What's on offer:

Salary up to £35K plus benefits. Expectation of 2-3 days in the office and the rest working from home.
