Client Details

A well established Chichester based client are looking to recruit a full time permanent Management Accountant.

Description

As Management Accountant you will be responsible for:

  • Overseeing the purchase ledger
  • Raising and processing sales invoices and completing an ongoing sales reconciliation
  • Managing the client recharge process, to and from the client
  • Credit control - ensuring all invoices are raised and liaising for payment in a timely manner
  • Monthly/Event related cash reporting
  • Analysing stock takes and preparing month end stock journals
  • Assisting in completing month end process & balance sheet reconciliations
  • All variances analysed, understood, challenged, and assist in appropriate actions being put in place to improve
  • Assisting in improving working capital including debt management and stock control
  • Assisting in the accurate & timely weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts and annual budgeting/forecasting process
  • Assisting in driving commercial initiatives to maximise revenue and optimise cost control and margin delivery

Profile

  • AAT and/or working towards a professional qualification
  • High numeric and analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Good financial and commercial acumen
  • Ability to work selected weekends and evenings with time back in lieu
  • Excellent Excel skills and SAP is a bonus
  • Good dynamic team player
  • Positive attitude towards colleagues
