Part Time Payroll & Benefits Manager - £60,000 FTE - City of London

Frazer Jones are delighted to be partnering with a leading Bank on the recruitment of a Part time Payroll & benefits Manager on a permanent basis.

This role will be working 28 hours per week (full time hours per week is 35) and this can be across 4 or 5 days.

Client is offering hybrid working with 2 days per week required into the office to collaborate with the wider team.

The Role:

  • Manage the monthly payroll process from start to finish ensuring payroll information is sent to the external payroll provider on a timely basis (and in line with strict authorisation controls), payroll is checked
  • Ensure post payroll service meetings are held each month with payroll provider
  • Ensure payroll submissions are accurate and be accountable for its accuracy
  • Ensure all joiners, changes and leavers are entered accurately and in a timely basis on the payroll database
  • Ensure each element of payroll is reconciled each month through robust reconciliations
  • Ensure all Expat payroll processes are completed in a timely manner and payments made in line with deadlines
  • Maintain/monitor the relationship with payroll provider and escalate any service related issues as appropriate.
  • Carry out the administration with regards to the day-to-day running of the benefits programme
  • Ensure changes to benefits are correctly applied on payroll
  • Ensure the schemes premiums are paid in a timely manner
  • Deliver and continually improve the new joiner benefits induction presentation
  • Ensure all pension contributions are processed correctly,
  • Ensure Auto - enrolment is accurately applied to new joiners
  • Reconcile benefit submissions against payroll each month.

Skills required:

  • ADP system knowledge is a must.
  • Strong vendor management exposure.
  • Strong UK payroll experience.
