Oakleaf Partnership are representing a Manchester-based financial services firm who offer specialist solutions to clients globally. They are recruiting a Payroll & Benefits Assistant to support the end-to-end payroll across their EMEA region, and the wider HR function for all benefit-related activities. This is initially a 12-month contract which has the potential to be extended. Offices are based in Manchester with hybrid working available 2/3 days in the office.

What is the role

As a Payroll & Benefits Assistant, you will support the processing of new starters, leavers and all changes on European payrolls and benefit platforms, you will assist with payroll-related queries and manage the email inbox, support with running the monthly payroll, and create user guides for all payroll and benefits administration. You will support the development and streamlining of processes and procedures, ensure compliance on payroll legislation and support the Compensation & Benefits team with annual benefits enrolment and other administrative duties.



Candidate profile/experience


The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role, good knowledge of Microsoft Office and payroll systems, excellent organisation skills, a high level of accuracy and attention to detail, and strong communication skills with the ability to interact with people at all levels.
