Job Details
The HR Manager will join the business on a 12-month fixed-term contract and will provide full HR support to the North East site.
The HR Manager will lead on all operational HR activities, as well as implementing the business HR strategy at site-level and delivering a variety of transformational projects in line with business goals and objectives.

Description
Key responsibilities:
- Lead on the delivery of all operational HR ensuring alignment to the wider business strategy, as well as to the UK&I HR priorities and KPIs
- Work with key stakeholders to implement transformational projects
- Lead on quarterly talent reviews and succession planning meetings, in collaboration with the Talent and Development Team
- Work with people managers to identify learning and development requirements
- Work in partnership with key stakeholders to develop and deliver key HR practices and processes
- Oversee employee relations and union matters, working in partnership with the HR Advisory team to mitigate business risk
- Support and coach managers in discussions relating to job evaluation, pay and reward
- Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition Team to provide an excellent recruitment service
- Champion and be proficient in using HR self-service tools
- Use people data to identify relevant and actionable insights that identify or address challenges
Profile
- Experienced HR Manager or Business Partner and comfortable leading on both strategic and operational projects
- Experience of working with unions
- Comfortable working in a large-scale organisation with existing structure and processes
- Experience of partnering with people managers in a generalist HR role
- Excellent track record of building strong professional relationships across all levels of the organisation
- Excellent working knowledge of UK employment legislation and HR best practice HR
- Experience of delivery HR strategy and activities within a complex business environment
- Experience of delivering innovative, creative and tailored HR solutions
