Your new company
This is an exciting opportunity to join a global FTSE 50 manufacturer that has continued to grow by acquisition. They have three sites in Norfolk, and your base office will be in central Norwich with subsidised parking.

Your new role
Following an internal secondment, an opportunity has been created for an experienced HR generalist to join their friendly HR team on a 10 month fixed term contract. As HR Manager you will support three sites in Norfolk with a combined headcount of around 275 employees.

You'll work to develop strong relationships with your stakeholders and look to improve capability by ensuring managers develop the skills and knowledge required to follow best practice processes. Day to day you can expect a broad range of responsibilities including casework, recruitment and performance management. The HR Manager will also support change management programmes and work closely with the line managers to develop and implement their training and development plans.

During the contract, you will also have the opportunity to respond to their staff survey results with appropriate actions. The role will develop organically as you identify the needs of your customers.

What you'll need to succeed
The ideal candidate will be available at short notice with solid experience in providing HR support and guidance to line managers, can manage employee relations cases independently and can adapt and champion a coaching, facilitative approach.

Good collaboration, influencing and communication skills and the ability to challenge behaviours and manage conflict effectively are important traits. You will also be passionate about customer service and want to understand the wider business context. Have high levels of drive, energy and resilience and find ease in facilitating meetings and delivering training.
