A brilliant new role is available at a global investment bank in the City of London. They are looking for a HR Shared Service Manager to join their team on a 1 year contract. The business spans 2000 employees in multiple offices across EMEA.

This role will manage 7 people who are responsible for being the first point of contact answering front line questions, new employee onboarding, supporting recruitment administration, and ensuring that all HR systems and processes are up to date at all times. The team will also be responsible to constantly review and improve self-service options for employees and managers.

Main responsibilities:

  • Subject matter expert and functional owner of the policy, processes, systems and providers that support the service
  • Lead and manage a team that delivers all employee lifecycle processes and performance related administration
  • Ensure the team deliver the services on time (to SLAs), on budget and to the right quality levels
  • Ensure the development of a customer service and performance culture
  • Act as a role model, thought leader and influencer for service innovation and continuous improvement
  • Maintain the HR Intranet - content and structure
  • Manage projects that change and improve these services and systems including regulatory projects and strategic business projects
  • The role will need to maintain effective relationships with global HR colleagues, IT, Data Governance and 3rd Party Suppliers

This exciting position will be best suited to candidates with strong HR Shared Service / People Operations experience that have worked in a global capacity with strong people management skills. The person will be dynamic, customer centric and have a continual improvement mentality.
