We have a requirement for a HR Systems Project Manager / Officers to support a large organisation in Dorset


We are seeking an HR Systems professionals to support a large scale organisation in Dorset. This role will be initially a 3-6 months contract with scope for longer term projects.
Were seeking an HR Systems professionals who has ideally Ideally supported the implementation of an ATS / e-recruitment and/or a data migration exercises for HR systems implementation.

The purpose of this roles is to play an important contributory role in ensuring the successful implementation of a ATS and Holiday booking systems. Working as part of the wider project team, the post holder will focus on key HR-related activities to facilitate successful implementation, including data migration, process mapping, handling queries, testing, updating of documentation, user guides and user training.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with project team members and other stakeholders to deliver project requirements and champion acceptance from stakeholders for proposed solutions.
  • Plan, arrange and facilitate meetings and workshops for stakeholders and business process owners to develop and explore requirements and needs.
  • Document existing processes and apply process improvement methodologies to identify efficiencies and design new processes.
  • Ensure all changes are documented and approved throughout the project.
  • Undertake data cleansing activities to prepare the data for migration to new solutions.
  • Create test scripts to ensure the system is performing and functioning as expected, and complete full testing cycle, working with end users across relevant areas of responsibility.
  • Produce finalised procedure documents for ongoing use within the HR Team and service users.
  • Prepare training materials and deliver development to all relevant users.
  • Complete allocated actions from the Communication Plan including the preparation and cascade of relevant project updates and face to face stakeholder engagement.
  • Produce all necessary project documentation in line with project delivery processes, standard templates and procedures to ensure understanding and alignment.


Candidates
We are seeking candidates who have worked as part of a larger organisation implementing new HR systems. We are looking for candidates who have experience as HR Systems Project Manager, HR Systems Manager, HR Systems Analyst, HR Systems Project Officer, HR systems Trainer.. OR perhaps an HR Professional who has majored and key skill in HR Systems.

  • Relevant experience of maintaining and developing systems and processes
  • Experience of developing and delivery of user acceptance testing
  • Experience of service or project provision to a large user base
  • Relevant experience of stakeholder engagement and delivery of training
  • Knowledge of HR policies and procedures
  • Process improvement qualification or training, e.g. Lean
  • Experience in the use and application of a variety of tools including MS Visio Skills
  • Highly effective interpersonal skills, ability to influence, persuade and collaborate
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective organisation and planning skills with the ability to prioritise workload
  • High level of attention to detail Investigation and analysis of problems with a methodical and disciplined approach
  • Highly competent with relevant IT systems, particularly computerised databases and use of spreadsheets
  • Working to project timescales
  • Ability to research alternative process solutions and make recommendations

The roles are offered on an initial interim contract via Hays for 3 to 6 months - likely 6, with scope for other project coming on stream.
This role will be able to work from home with 1-2 days on site in Bournemouth for key meetings.
