Resourcing Assistant | Leeds | 6 weeks- Temp | 35 hours | 9-5 | Up to £23,000| Hybrid

Your new company
Our client is an international business law firm whose clients include 45 FTSE100 companies. The company's role is to defend their clients' rights, protect their interests and to make the most of business opportunities. They operate from 13 offices in Europe, Asia and the Middle East, and focus heavily on industry sectors such as retail & consumer, transport, real estate and financial services. This role is within the Resourcing team who are responsible for managing recruitment for the firm. You can expect to work cohesively with the wider HR Team, key stakeholders and partners within the business. The Resourcing Team is led by the Head of Resourcing with the support of a Manager and advisors.


Your new role
As the Resourcing Assistant you will support the wider Resourcing Team throughout the recruitment life cycle. The role is extremely varied and encompasses a wide range of administrative tasks and the ability to work with Advisors on some of the vacancies. You will be involved in the recruitment across all of our UK and international offices. The following list, whilst not exhaustive, gives a flavour of what you can expect if you are to be successful:

  • Responsible for updating the recruitment system, external job boards and databases with vacancy information
  • Scheduling interviews, recruitment events and assessment centres
  • Generation of recruitment correspondence including offer letters and contracts of employment
  • Being a point of contact for prospective candidates and new joiners relating to questions about the recruitment process or onboarding process
  • Ownership and maintenance of recruitment spreadsheets, templates and key recruitment documents
  • Support with the management of the agency relationships including issuing recruitment terms and subsequent renewals, arranging agency briefings and organising payment of agency invoices
  • Manage recruitment invoicing
  • Manage the Recruitment inbox in a timely and professional manner
  • Become a super user for the recruitment system and ensure applications are processed through the system to ensure accuracy in reporting




What you'll need to succeed

  • Experience of working in a fast paced administrative role, ideally with some exposure to recruitment processes
  • Good attention to detail and a proven track record of consistently high accuracy levels and overall high standards of work
  • An ability to manage conflicting requests or concurrent multiple projects, including rearranging interviews and co-ordinating fast paced schedules
  • The ability to interact professionally and credibly with candidates, internal and external clients and suppliers
  • Highly computer literate with Microsoft Office skills, ideally including experience of using an Applicant Tracking System
  • An ability to problem solve, willingness to get involved and show initiative
  • Be a collaborate, team play
