Oakleaf Partnership are representing a growing charity in Yorkshire who are going through exciting change and transformation. They are recruiting for a Learning & Development Business Partner to join and support their established HR team and help them develop their L&D offering. This is a fantastic opportunity for an experienced L&D professional who wants to lead a team, be innovative in their role and strive for continuous improvement. The charity are very passionate about what they do and are really excited about this brand new role!

What is the role

As the Learning & Development Business Partner, you will lead a small L&D team, and partner with stakeholders and the wider HR team to develop the organisation's learning offering, provide advice and support and develop workforce capability. You will design and implement frameworks, drive a learning and coaching culture, and manage the delivery of leadership development programmes and apprenticeship schemes. By working with an HRBP and Organisational Development consultant, you will have a great opportunity to really incite change across the business and improve the organisation's Employee Value Proposition.

Candidate profile/experience

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a similar role. You will have managed an L&D team and have a good understanding of the partnering approach. You will have excellent communication skills and be able to build relationships and influence at the senior level. You will have strong knowledge of LMS systems and have change and project management skills. You are ideally qualified to Level 7 or working towards it in L&D or strategic leadership.
