This is a Fixed Term Contract for 18 months.

You will lead a major HR transformation project, with a focus on HR systems implementation.

Our client is an Business and Professional Services organisation within Financial Services that has experienced significant success and growth in the last 5 years.

With a presence in the South East of England, including areas like London, Reading and Southampton, this growth has seen the business nearly triple its headcount and open offices across the globe.

Description

As a result of it's growth, the organisation is embarking on a programme of transformation across the business and its different support functions, key to which is the Transformation of its operating model in HR and Finance.

As HR Transformation Lead, this role will have a focus on leading a transformation of the HR systems that the business currently uses.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Lead on and Project manage the full life-cycle of the project in partnership with the HR Leadership Team and IT departmental leaders.
  • Lead the HR Transformation project through the appropriate phases of implementation and support.
  • Work collaboratively with the project sponsor to meet project goals.
  • Consult with Project Sponsors to develop the business requirements.
  • Serve as liaison between Human Resources, Departmental users and IT. Partner with HR to define and identify business requirements and potential solutions then works with IT to further refine solutions, develop, test and implement.
  • Make recommendations on replacing or improving existing ineffective systems or processes.
  • Manage vendors throughout the project life cycle from engagement through to completion .
  • The HR Transformation Lead must partner with other People (HR, Reward, Academy, Operations, Payroll and Engagement) team members and IT functions, including operational front line staff, in researching, analysing, coordinating, and leading system implementation, enhancements, and upgrades as part of the project.
  • The HR Transformation Lead will work closely with the CPO to detail the business case to include the business scope/objectives, assess project impacts, and develop the most cost-effective and efficient solutions.

Profile

The successful candidate must be able to be in an office on 2-3 days a week. Candidates can be based in areas around London, The South Coast (Southampton, Basingtoke, Portsmouth) or the Reading area (Reading, Newbury, Slough).

In addition the candidate must be able to demonstrate the following:

  • A history of working on previous HR operating model transformation and implementation having managed multiple ERP projects with systems such as Workday, Oracle, SAO or MS Dynamics
  • An accreditation in Project management.
  • Experience of working across the full lie cycle of an HR Systems Implementation and Transformation
  • Experience of working within an SME and Large organisations and in particular experience of medium to large scale complex HR System implementation projects with both a business and a technology focus
  • Experience of Stakeholder management and in particular the ability to influence at Board level.

Experience of working on an implementation within an organisation from Professional Services or Financial Services would be highly desirable.

Job Offer

This is a Fixed Term Contract of 18 Months.

The salary on offer will be up to £120,000 per annum + benefits.

The role will be hybrid and look for the successful candidate to be in the offices on 2 to 3 days a week. Candidates can be located in London, The South Coast and Hampshire area (Southampton, Portsmouth and Basingstoke) or the Thames Valley (Slough, Reading or Newbury).
