This Exciting and progressive Senior HR Administrator role is to be based in Luton town centre offering great training prospects and exposure to get involved in Employee relations casework for an individual with Strong prior HR administration experience.

This great Engineering company are based in Luton town centre and have a great company culture across the business. An experienced HR Manager is looking for a Senior HR Administrator to train and support their career through offering great exposure to ER casework and HR improvements they are looking for someone with prior HR experience across administration keen to learn and progress their career within HR

Description

Senior HR Administrator responsibilities and duties;

  • Lead on HR Administration for the Luton location
  • Work with the HR Manager to support managers with disciplinary, capability and grievance investigation and hearings. Take meeting notes and draft invite and outcome letters.
  • Process starters and leavers
  • Learn to provide guidance and support to employees and line managers in relation to maternity, paternity, adoption and shared parental leave.
  • Assist in providing support and guidance to managers on training and appraisals.
  • Draft training agreements and work with the HR Manager to utilise the apprenticeship levy where possible.
  • Work with the HR Manager to support managers with staff absences including short-term, long-term absences, and engage with occupational health where necessary.
  • Work with the wider HR team to regularly report on absence information, identifying trends and ways to limit absenteeism.
  • Work with the wider HR to deliver a company wellbeing programme.

Profile

Senior HR Administrator experience and characteristics required;

  • Relevant HR Administration experience with a keen interest in HR and a desire to develop in a people focused role.
  • Highly organised with an attention to detail.
  • Creative problem solver with the ability to multitask in a changing environment.
  • Trustworthy, works with integrity.
  • Excellent relationship building skills.
  • Able to balance being well-liked with making or supporting difficult decisions.
