As a HR Advisor you will provide a comprehensive advisory service to managers and employees on all ER matters including grievances and disciplinaries.

Client Details

I have partnered with a well known transport organisation based in Leeds City Centre, and I am assisting them with the recruitment of a HR Advisor.
The role is full time and permanent and is paying up to £31,000.

Description

The successful HR Advisor will be responsible for:

  • Advising and supporting managers and employees on all people related matters including ER, absences and performance
  • Providing coaching and mentoring to managers on how to deal with employment matters and supporting them in resolving issues
  • Reviewing and implementing policies and procedures
  • Developing good relationships with Union Representatives to ensure all union agreements are collaborative
  • Supporting the wider team on key projects and initiatives

Profile

The successful HR Advisor will have:

  • Demonstrable experience as a HR Advisor ideally in a unionised environment
  • Up to date knowledge of employment laws
  • Experience supporting with ER caseloads from start to finish
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport at all levels
  • CIPD qualification would be desirable
