Job Details
Macmillan Davies are currently supporting a P.E backed FinTech as they search for their first Head of Talent to oversee the Talent Acquisition and Learning & Development functions within the business.
Working closely with the Executive team, the Head of Talent will lead on designing and delivering effective strategies to attract, nurture and retain top talent whilst building diverse candidate pipelines across all levels of the organisation.
This new position has been created out of necessity, and will lead on the execution of a consistent and comprehensive talent management cycle, using the output to inform recommendations for retention strategies and development initiatives, ensuring tangible value and driving a high performing culture.
Key areas of focus in this role will be to improve, or create where necessary, robust initiatives on:
- Talent Management
- Organisational Design & Competencies
- Organisational Development
- Talent Brand & EVP
About you
We're looking to attract a talent superstar. Somebody with a real passion and fresh ideas around inclusion, attraction, development and retention.
Your leadership skills will be important in order to lead forward thinking L&D and Talent Attraction teams. Whilst strategic input and credibility at a senior level will be essential, we also need somebody able to get involved operationally too.
Stakeholder management is vital to success in this role to build and leverage on those strong relationships both inside and outside of the business.
Whilst approaching everything with a view on improving culture is essential, we also need somebody able to match that with a commercial eye also.
We're looking for somebody with expertise gained in a data driven environment who can not only deliver important people metrics, but can participate in the analytics too.
What's on offer
We're looking at a salary between £70k - £75k plus benefits. There will be a need to be in Manchester part of the working week.
