Your new organisation:

My client is a global manufacturing organisation who transform the patient experience through their initiative products and investments in digital technology and infrastructure resulting in a more personalised and advanced quality care. They are currently recruiting for a HR Generalist.

Your new role:

Reporting into the Associate HR Director your responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Managing core HR activities for assigned organisational units, including staffing, performance management, compensation administration, career development, leadership development and succession planning.
  • Supports in employee relations and supports the Manager in effective conflict resolution with respect to employee relations and performance management issues.
  • Supports the entire staffing & hiring process for assigned client groups.
  • Identify short- and long-term HR issues related to the organization's objectives and develop and implement initiatives to address those issues.
  • Entering/maintaining all necessary data to the organisations HR systems and thus responsible for your own client group administration.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, business communications, data summaries, and other documents of both a recurring and non-recurring nature. Perform moderately complex analyses of data to draw inferences or conclusions.
  • Develop and institute HR best practices of the department's policy, procedures, and processes. Assist and ensuring HR budgeting is adhered to.
  • Assist Senior Management identifying talents, ensuring succession planning, and foreseeing organizational development (OD) needs.
  • In a regular turn host the Introduction Day for new team-members.


What you'll need to succeed:

You will ideally have a CIPD qualification or will have experience in working within a HR role along with using HR systems such as SAP and Microsoft 365 and dealing with employee relation matters. You will be an easy-going team player, have great communication and relationship building skills along with being a proactive worker in a fast-paced environment.

What you'll get in return:

The role is a fixed-term contract for 12 months with the possibility of extension and you will be required to work 37.5 hours weekly. The role is based on-site in the Vale of Glamorgan. The organisation is offering a salary banding of £25,000 - £35,000 dependent on experience along-side a range of employee benefits such as annual bonus', health and life insurance, and discounted health and wellbeing packages.
