We are currently recruiting for an experienced Senior Employee Relations Manager on behalf of a client in Professional Services in London. Reporting to the Chief People Officer, this is a newly-created role and key responsibilities include:

• Led on strategy and setting the "tone" for employee relations within the firm
• Policy development and advice - ensuring policies are in line with current  legislation and best practice, delivery of new or revised policies, and the provision of advice and guidance to Partners, Senior Management, and the wider HR team.
• Management of employee relations issues in a way that is consistent in "tone" with the ER and People strategy
• Training and development - including building an ER knowledge bank of management guidelines and best practice precedents to support our client's HR teams.
•  HR Projects.

The ideal candidate will be a senior and experienced specialist in Employee relations, who understands ER in the wider context of the People Strategy and the Employee Experience. Perhaps you are a former employment lawyer working in-house or specialist in Employee Relations. Either way, you must have a background in Professional Services (Accounting, Law, etc) and be collegiate and collaborative in style, with a commercial, risk-based, and pragmatic approach to Employee Relations.
