Oakleaf Partnership is representing a global, diverse Bank with strong values and culture. They are looking for a Senior Manager - SMCR based within HR. You will be responsible for working with HR, Compliance and the wider business to manage the HR processes and procedures that relate to SMCR. You will also get involved with HR governance.
What is the role
Working with HR, Compliance and the wider business you will be responsible for the development, maintenance and oversight of the SMCR, related policies, practices and framework, as well as ensuring the governance framework is fit for purpose. You will be working closely with the business to ensure that all business areas comply with SMCR requirements and that all change is conducted in line with SMCR requirements. You will oversee and administer SMCR related processes, ensure the compliance is embedded and best practice is in place and working with the wider HR team to ensure relevant training is in place. You will proactively monitor any legislative changes and undertake data analysis and reporting ensuring any emerging trends and issues are identified and addressed.
Skills & Experience
- To apply you must be an experienced SMCR specialist within Financial Services and you must have a background in HR
- Demonstrate current knowledge of the SMCR regulation
- Demonstrate a strong understanding of HR processes, risk, regulatory and compliance frameworks
- Demonstrate strong communication, influencing and stakeholder management skills and strong decision-making skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to influence different business areas and management levels
- Ability to explain complicated concepts and requirements to different audiences
- Ability to identify and troubleshoot issues and escalation where needed
