Frazer Jones are delighted to be working with a well-known Luxury FMCG, looking for the next professional to join their fantastic team.

A luxury FMCG business located in the outskirts of London is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Operations Manager to join their team. You will support the Senior Payroll Manager and play a key role in improving payroll processes and systems. Apply now and be a part of a dynamic team.

The role:

  • Collaborate with the payroll team and external provider for accurate and timely payrolls.
  • Continuously improve UK payroll processing, following regulations and best practices.
  • Build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, addressing queries promptly.
  • Coordinate payroll training, emphasizing legislation and compliance.
  • Own the UK payroll processing, working closely with HR and outsourced partners.
  • Implement efficient systems and controls to minimize errors and reflect changes accurately.
  • Manage payroll elements like cycle schemes, childcare vouchers, and pension contributions.
  • Handle notional salaries, Minimum Wage, and HMRC duties.
  • Oversee P60/P11D processing and other adhoc tasks
  • Conduct initial checks, process funding, and ensure on-time BACS payments.
  • Manage UK General Ledger, journals, and balance sheet reconciliations.
  • Analyse and report payroll data, including UK recharges.
  • Provide backup support to the Senior Payroll Manager when needed.
  • Assist in maintaining payroll best practices and updating policies.

The Person

  • Preferably familiar with ADP Freedom and SAP Accounting systems.
  • Irish payroll experience
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Previous payroll management experience is required.
  • Effective communication skills and teamwork skills, able to input ideas
  • Proficient in manual calculations, CIPP qualification.
  • Experience with system implementation projects is advantageous.

  • 35 hours p/w
  • Up to £60000 + Bonus
