The Salary - £50-55k plus car allowance & up to 20% bonus

Job Description:
As the People Business Partner for all London restaurants, you will play a vital role in partnering with the Regional Operations Director and the wider region to provide expert HR support and deliver the People strategy. You will be responsible for building strong relationships, implementing strategic plans, supporting a high-performance culture, and ensuring compliance with policies and best practices. Your expertise and guidance will help drive the success of our People initiatives and contribute to achieving our organizational goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day HR Support and Compliance:
* Act as the primary point of contact for the senior Operations team, providing consultancy on all people-related matters.
* Support the implementation of HR policies, standards, and principles to ensure compliance with company procedures, best practices, and legislative requirements.
* Collaborate with the central Employee Relations team as needed.
Relationship Building and Strategy Implementation:
* Develop strong business relationships with the senior Operations team, influencing and delivering effective strategies and plans.
* Create and execute the Regional People plan to enhance key performance indicators (KPIs) within the region.
* Attend Regional and Territory meetings, leading the Quarterly People Days to implement essential People Strategies.
* Proactively identify process gaps, issues, and propose and implement solutions.
* Monitor and manage People KPIs with the Regional team, providing improvement solutions.
Supporting High Performance and Development Culture:
* Drive performance improvement and initiate positive changes in people management practices.
* Provide coaching and guidance to address individual or team performance issues, ensuring the company's duty of care and welfare concerns are met.
* Coach line managers in developing their leadership skills and style, offering timely and robust feedback.
Talent Management:
* Collaborate with the Recruitment and Talent Team to identify and recruit top talent for the region.
* Deliver training workshops at regional cascade meetings to enhance capability, awareness, and performance.
Reward and Recognition:
* Provide guidance and support to ensure the integrity of the bonus scheme and appraisal process, ensuring fair remuneration, benefits, and rewards.
What You'll Need:
* Strong generalist knowledge of HR, preferably with experience in the multi-site hospitality or retail sector.
* Ability to influence and challenge senior management effectively.
* Excellent coaching, facilitation, and presentation skills.
* Strong team ethic, promoting shared values and inspiring others to excel.
* Resilience and proactive approach in addressing obstacles and seizing opportunities.
* Strong commercial awareness and understanding.
* A full driving license would be advantageous but not essential.
