Oakleaf are working with an investment firm in their search for a Talent Acquisition Specialist on an initial 6 month to perm basis.
The successful candidate will be a trusted advisor partnering with various stakeholders to deliver recruitment activities across London and Munich. They are currently a team of 4 in London (Head of HR/HR Manager/HR Admin and Recruitment Lead) and are around 50 globally (US and APAC).
This role is a true 360 position with a focus on providing a good stakeholder and candidate experience - its very high touch. This role is perfect for someone who wants to get involved in driving high-impact iniciatives like diversity and ealry careers. They have done a lot of work on this in London but now need to focus their attention towards their European hiring attraction and selection processes. Because of this they are looking for someone with relevant DEI hiring experience and a passion in this space.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle from position creation, engaging with search firms through to approval and offer negotiations
- Identify best in class search firms and negotiate competitive agreements
- Track, screen and respond to all speculative candidates, building an internal market map where appropriate
- Advise hiring managers on the most suitable recruitment process, coaching hiring managers on interviewing skills and techniques including testing
- Interview candidates at all levels and provide feedback to hiring managers
- Prepare contracts and relevant paperwork for offer packs and ensuring that employment contract and member agreement templates are updated as necessary
- Support the wider HR function on various initiatives and projects around annual performance, compensation and Diversity & Inclusion
- Collaborate on ad hoc HR projects - contribute ideas to improve recruiting function and candidate experience
Key Skills:
- A high energy, self starter with the ability to build relationships with senior stakeholders as a subject matter expert in talent acquisition
- Substantial inhouse recruiting experience, within asset management or professional services
- Agency recruitment experience is desirable
- Able to operate with autonomy to manage a busy workload and work to tight deadlines
- A collaborative team player
- Experience using an applicant tracking system required; familiarity with Taleo a plus
