Location: Hybrid (London 2 Days a week Home 3 days a week)

As a FTSE listed Global Retail and Hospitality organisation our Client is seeking a talented and experienced Group Senior Manager – Organisation Design to join their dynamic team. You will be responsible for developing and implementing effective organisational structures, employee grading systems, and maintaining records of the company's operating model. Your primary objective will be to optimise organisation design to support their business goals and ensure efficient operations across all regions.

 

The role:

 

Develop and Implement Organisation Design Strategy:

 

Collaborate with executive leadership to define and execute the company's organisation design strategy, aligning it with the overall business objectives and growth plans.

 

Conduct thorough analysis of existing organisational structures, processes, and talent capabilities to identify improvement areas.

 

Create innovative organisation design solutions that enhance talent development, efficiency, agility, and employee engagement, while ensuring alignment with regional autonomy.

 

Use intercompany benchmarking to support the sharing of best practice across the organisation.

 

Support Regional Autonomy:

 

Work closely with regional Global leaders to understand their specific needs and challenges, while fostering a sense of partnership and collaboration across the decentralised model.

 

Provide expert guidance and support in developing local organisational structures that are optimised for performance and growth while adhering to global guidelines.

 

Employee Grading:

 

Oversee the development and maintenance of the company-wide employee grading structures.

 

Ensure that grading frameworks are consistent, fair, and align with market trends, while promoting internal equity and talent retention.

 

Manage Organisational Change:

 

Lead Group wide and support local change management initiatives related to organisation design and structural changes, effectively communicating with stakeholders at all levels to gain buy-in and support.

 

Implement change management strategies that mitigate potential risks and disruptions during periods of organisational transformation.

 

Drive Continuous Improvement:

 

Monitor industry trends and best practices in organisation design, staying up-to-date with relevant developments and methodologies.

 

Continuously assess and refine the organisation design process to optimise performance and efficiency.

 

Maintain Records of Operating Model:

 

Ensure accurate and up-to-date documentation of the company's operating model, including organisational charts, policies, and procedures.

 

Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

The person:

Degree educated or equivalent

 

Proven experience in leading organisation design initiatives within a complex and multi-country retail or hospitality or FMCG environment.

 

Strong understanding of organisational dynamics, talent management, and compensation structures.

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.

 

Change management expertise, with a track record of successfully implementing organisational changes.

 

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data-driven insights to inform decision-making.

 

Demonstrated leadership and project management capabilities.

 

Willingness to travel as required.
