Your new company
You will be joining a fast-paced, progressive and growing business based in Blackburn, Lancashire – close to the M65 and easily accessible from Burnley, Clitheroe, Accrington and central Blackburn. Due to further acquisitions, this business is seeking an experienced Senior Credit Controller to join their team on a full-time, permanent basis, based from their offices in Blackburn.

Your new role
As Senior Credit Controller, you will work amongst a fantastic cohort of Credit professionals and be responsible for the chasing of debt from customers across the UK. You will be responsible for managing your own aged debt ledger, chasing customers daily, running reports and work closely with managers and directors to frequently update the aged debt reports. You will collaborate with the treasury and invoicing team, to assist in cash allocation and chase any queries when required. This is a full-time role, supporting a fantastic, driven Credit Manager. Your role is office based, Monday to Friday with total flexibility on your working hours.

What you'll need to succeed

Previous experience in a Credit Control position is essential, alongside experience working alongside other areas of Finance. You will work well in a team, be competent with Excel – ideally having familiarity with V LOOKUP and pivot tables. Excellent communication skills both verbally and written are essential with a flexible, enthusiastic and can-do attitude.
