Main Duties and Responsibilities 

Working closely with the Director of People, Culture and Transformation, you will be a key contributor to the development of the People Systems strategy. You will be the operational lead for the implementation of short and long term objectives to ensure effective delivery and efficient services across the global group.

You will lead a team of systems administrators to support the effective running and maintenance of our new people system SAP SuccessFactors while being accountable for the planning, implementation, and evaluation of all system changes and improvements in line with the business and its operational needs.

As the Group People Systems Manager you will lead the implementation and continuous improvement of SAP SuccessFactors and other key people systems, whilst working closely with People Team colleagues and Digital Services to support the management, security, maintenance, and performance of digital systems ‘owed’ by the people team on behalf of Coventry University Group.  

Person Specification 

You will have proven experience of HR/Payroll systems management, specifically SAP SuccessFactors along with experience of software as a service (SaaS) implementation, manipulating data and producing reports. 

Educated to degree level and/ or hold a professional qualification eg: Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (CIPD) or IT related qualification, you will have strong Analytical skills to identify problems and produce solutions. 

A self-motivated individual with a flexible approach to work and task, you will have the ability to work to deadlines, managing multiple workstreams You will have excellent written, communication and presentation skills with the ability to develop and deliver training to end users.  Collaboration is a key part of this role so the ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with wide range of stakeholders.
