This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing Manufacturing and Production organisation who are looking to recruit a HR Manager to take ownership of the HR function. You will be leading a small HR team in supporting circa 300 employees across a number of different UK entities.

Client Details

The client is an international Manufacturing and Production organisation with over 2000 employees globally, roughly 300 of which are UK based. As the HR Manager you will be responsible for providing exemplary HR support to UK employees across a number of entities, as well as directly managing a small team. This is a dynamic environment with constant change, and would suit a candidate who thrives in a fast paced environment. You will have the opportunity to implement changes and make the role your own.


  • Oversee HR department operations and ensure compliance with company policies and regulations
  • Develop HR strategies that align with the company's business goals
  • Manage recruitment process and ensure the selection of top-quality candidates
  • Coordinate employee development programs and performance evaluations
  • Handle employee relations issues and promote a positive work environment
  • Develop compensation and benefits plans
  • Ensure compliance with laws and regulations
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics
  • Manage the HR Administrator and HR Advisor


A successful 'HR Manager' should have:

  • Experience within a similar HR Manager/ standalone HR role
  • Strong knowledge of HR functions and best practices
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency with HR software and database management
  • Line management experience
  • Live locally to Milton Keynes
  • Have a flexible, proactive approach to problem solving

Job Offer

  • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)
  • Based in Milton Keynes, based remotely one day a week
  • 4% matched pension (increasing with length of service)
  • Competitive salary, negotiable dependent on experience
