Your new company
A central London-based university is looking for an ambitious individual to join its fast-paced Employment Services team.
Your new role

  • Effectively manage and complete a diverse set of employment life cycle tasks, workflows and responsibilities, responding within agreed timescales.
  • Carry out administration of HR processes, including contracts of employment and offer letters, contractual variations, and leavers to required standards.
  • Support prospective employees and line managers with UKVI requirements, and process CoS applications via the SMS Home Office system. Be the point of escalation for queries from Employment Services Assistants. Monitor compliance of UKVI using the monthly report from iTrent and report any changes via SMS.
  • Co-ordinate, administer and provide guidance for all employment life cycle transactions, workflows, administration, mailbox management and HR records (electronic across multiple systems including I-Trent and TopDesk.
  • Work with school administrators to support onboarding, and payroll colleagues to ensure timely delivery of service in line with payroll deadlines.
  • Provide advice and information to line managers, employees, candidates and new starters by telephone, email and face to face, answering straightforward questions or undertaking research and interpreting procedures, signposting to senior colleagues to answer more complex question as appropriate.
  • Regularly review processes, templates and standard solutions as part of a continuous improvement approach to work, and engage with internal stakeholders as appropriate, ensuring content is updated or flagged to senior colleagues for review.

  • Immediately Available or on a 1-week notice period
  • Previous use of iTrent
  • Experience working in a busy HR team
