Your new role
As the HR Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Manage employee relation cases such as grievances and disciplinaries.
  • Advise managers on all HR matters.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures.
  • Design and implement training and development plans based on training needs.
  • Process all payroll-related activities internally (including but not limited to new hires, overtime, salary changes, personal details updates, contracts).
  • Support the recruitment process - this may include writing job descriptions and screening applications.
  • Create and implement new induction processes to ensure a smooth and engaging process.
  • Create and implement a well-being plan.
  • Participate in the work of implementing specific projects such as implementing a new HR system and guidelines to help align the workforce with the organization's strategic goals.
  • Support the Human Resources Officer (not a direct report)

What you'll need to succeed

  • You will need to have excellent Welsh language skills (to read, write and hold a verbal conversation).
  • A minimum of CIPD Level 5 qualification is needed.
  • Experience as an HR generalist is required for this position.
  • You will need to be personable but professional with great relationship building, influencing and organisational skills.
