Senior HR Advisor / HR Business Partner - regional - Northern Region (greater South Yorkshire region) - £40000, plus £400 pcm car allowance - and other benefits

Your new company
Your new organisation is a rapidly growing national operational organisation (via acquisitions) which are now expanding their HR function. This is an exciting time for the company and your contribution will be invaluable to the people\'s direction as they grow further.

Your new role
This is a brand-new role for a Senior HR Advisor / HR Generalist / Junior HR BP to step into a Regional HR Business Partner role where you will use your HR knowledge to the full in both an operational and strategic/project capacity.

Reporting to the Senior HR Business Partner - who has been with the business to set up an effective HR function and service for this multi-site business since Autumn 2023, you will be responsible for the HR provision for 3-4 sites in the Northern region - mainly around the South Yorkshire and wider region.

As well as providing generalist HR support to Site Managers and Senior Leaders, you will be working with the Senior HR Business Partner and the HR Business Partner (in the south region) to focus on several key / focus objectives including:

  • Establishing a robust compliance process
  • Contract changes
  • Aligning Terms and Conditions
  • Restructure exercises
  • Implementing a new HR and Payroll system
  • Improvement processes for HR
  • Coaching and upskilling of Management
  • Succession planning and identifying ways to use the Apprenticeship Levy to upskill those identified.

This role is based on site 3 days a week (Tuesdays to Thursdays) with 2 days working from Home (Monday and Friday).

This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned HR Manager or an ambitious HR professional looking to take their "next step up" into a leadership role.

What you\'ll need to succeed
Solid experience working in a generalist HR capacity - ideally within a fast-paced, operational, mix of blue/white collar environment such as manufacturing, logistics, distribution or warehousing.
Experience of HR projects as well as generalist work.

CIPD Level 5 ideally as a minimum - or studying towards - or demonstratable experience level.

Car allowance of £400 pcm and mileage expenses
More than standard holidays - 25 days plus the bank holiday entitlement (NB Xmas close down is taken from your entitlement)
Flexible hours - this is a full-time role but core hours are 9.30am to 3.30pm and flexibility around start/finish time is available.
Hybrid working - 3 days a week at 1 of the sites you cover - with 2 days from home (Mondays and Fridays)
