Salary: up to £33,000 + 15% Bonus + Excellent Package & Scope. Office Based
Quedgeley, Gloucestershire

This global leader in the engineering, manufacture and application of unique systems is looking for an HR Officer to join their growing team in Gloucester, to support the day-to-day HR operations.

This is an ideal opportunity for an experienced or aspiring HR generalist looking to develop and progress in their career.

Specific duties include:

  • Deal with all HR-related queries, providing a professional and customer centric service
  • Support on Employee Relations casework including disciplinaries, grievances, and performance management.
  • Support long-term absence cases.
  • Support any project-related work.
  • Liaise with managers on recruitment related activities.
  • Coordinate onboarding process and induction of new starters.
  • Use and maintain the HR system, managing workflow processes, extracting reports and analysing data.
  • Complete all HR administration in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Assist with the administration of company benefits.
  • Ensure Payroll enquiries, ad-hoc instructions and changes are processed correctly.

Applicants will have a passion for HR, coupled with good understanding of UK employment law and practical experience gained with in a similarly demanding / changing environment.

You'll possess excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to work to tight deadlines, be able to respond quickly to changing priorities and have a high attention to detail. You will also be flexible, organised and ambitious, with excellent customer service, IT (intermediate Excel) and communication skills.

N.B. This role is office based, with some travel to other sites so, you must be able to drive and have your own vehicle.
