We are searching for an Employee Relations Advisor with NHS experience to work for a leading NHS trust based in London. The ideal candidate will have experience working in a team and possess the skills to manage employee relations effectively.

Description

The Employee Relations Advisor will provide a full range of HR services within a nominated directorate across the trust. Your duties will include:

  • Building credible and productive relationships by working in partnership with divisional, service and department leads, employees, HR business partners, staff side representatives and HR colleagues.
  • Offering specialist and generalist support and advice on the full range of ER issues including NHS terms and conditions of employment; management of change and TUPE; retirement, maternity/parental leave; disciplinary; grievances; job evaluation etc.
  • Developing the development of user friendly HR policies, processes, standard templates and tool kits in line with business needs.
  • Identifying gaps in compliance with DBS, right to work and professional registration and will work with line managers and employees to address these, escalating concerns as necessary.
  • Ensuring fixed term contract terminations are actioned by trust managers, providing regular reports ahead of expiry dates and signposting to the ESR support team where systems training or assistance is required.

Profile

The successful Employee Relations Advisor will be actively studying (or qualified in) CIPD.

You will have a background of working in a similar role within the NHS, providing ER advice and support to managers and staff on the full range of HR issues, including drafting or updating HR policies and procures.

Previous exposure using ESR is preferred.

This is a temporary position so you should be available to work at short notice.

Job Offer

A temporary position with a competitive hourly rate range of £18 - £24 per hour.
