We are seeking a dedicated HR Advisor to join our Human Resources team for a 6-month vacancy that has arisen. This role requires a solid understanding of HR practices and a genuine passion for supporting and developing others.

Client Details

Our client is a Christian charity based in Coventry. They are offering comprehensive support services across the United Kingdom. They are recognised for their commitment to improving lives, employing over a thousand dedicated staff members in multiple locations.


  • Providing HR support to managers and staff on a wide range of issues.
  • Ensuring HR policies and procedures are consistently applied across the organisation.
  • Coordinating recruitment, selection, and onboarding processes.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of HR initiatives.
  • Supporting performance management processes.
  • Facilitating staff training and development.
  • Ensuring compliance with relevant employment legislation.
  • Participating in HR projects as required.


A successful HR Advisor should have:

  • An understanding and appreciation for the organisation's religious ethos and aims
  • A degree in Human Resources or a related field (or working towards)
  • An understanding of payroll processes
  • Sound knowledge of UK employment laws and HR best practices.
  • Experience in a HR role within the not-for-profit sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational and time management abilities.
  • Proficiency in HR systems and MS Office.

Job Offer

  • A competitive salary of £33,000 per annum.
