Job Details

This role is for a Learning and Development Assistant, in the Human Resources department of a public sector organisation. The position is based in London and offers an exciting opportunity to develop your experience and skills in supporting the Learning and Development.

Client Details

Our client is a well-established public sector organisation based in London.


The Learning and Development Assistant duties will include:

  • Assist with the coordination and administration of learning and development programmes.
  • Manage bookings and logistics for training sessions.
  • Supporting the creation and maintenance of learning resources.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of learning and development processes.
  • Provide administrative support to the Human Resources department.
  • Work closely with organisational departments to keep track and inform of training budgets
  • Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.


The successful Learning and Development Assistant will have excellent communication skills and have previous exposure to providing high quality administrative service, including managing HR/L&D in-box, coordinating events, managing diaries and processes.

Previous experience supporting a Learning and Development team and dealing with queries is essential.

You will need to be available at short notice to work this temporary position.
