Oakleaf Partnership are working with a manufacturing business in Burnley who are seeking an HR Business Partner to join and manage a small and efficient team. The role is permanent and full-time and will support the HR and training functions at site. This is a great opportunity for an experienced HR professional looking to really have an impact on an HR function and business offering. The role is based in Burnley and requires on-site presence.

What is the role?

As an HR Business Partner, you will report into the HR Manager, and manage and support the HR and Training activities for the site at Burnley. You will manage the day-to-day operations for a small team of 2, handling complex employee relations casework, absence and performance management, reviewing, updating and advising on policies and procedures and assisting with the development of the team. You will support with various projects and initiatives and act as a lead for new and ongoing projects relating to HR and training. You will also manage and maintain reports for senior stakeholders.

Candidate profile/experience

The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Senior Advisor or Business Partner role and ideally have experience of people management. You will have excellent communication and influencing skills. You will understand the challenges of a unionised environment and be confident in your ability to work autonomously. You will ideally be CIPD Level 5 qualified and be eager to develop your skills and knowledge and be adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
