Job Details

The ER Manager will proactively address complex employee relations matters, providing recommendations and solutions while leading an ER Advisory function across multiple business areas. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, CIPD qualification (or progress toward it), and the ability to influence senior stakeholders in a fast-paced, agile environment.

  • Develop and implement employee relations strategies and procedures.
  • Lead the resolution of complex employee relations issues.
  • Collaborate with other team leaders in the HR department to ensure consistency.
  • Provide advice and guidance on employment law and HR best practices.
  • Monitor HR metrics to identify trends and develop proactive solutions.
  • Oversee the management of employee grievance and disciplinary procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation and regulations.
  • Promote a positive and inclusive company culture.


A successful 'ER Manager' should have:

  • A degree-level qualification in human resources, business management or a related field.
  • Proven experience in a leadership role within a HR department.
  • Excellent knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and integrity.
  • A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to make informed decisions.
