Resourcing Manager

  • 6 month FTC. Will also consider taking someone on a temporary basis
  • Paying up to £70,000 or £350/day

Oakleaf Partnership are working with a growing, diverse and inclusive Consultancy. They are seeking an interim Resource Manager to join a friendly and collaborative team. You will be responsible for overseeing resource allocation and ensuring the optimisation and utilisation of resources across all projects and departments. The firm is looking for someone who can hit the ground running and bring their extensive experience to ensure the efficient delivery of projects.

What is the role

In this role, you will manage their resourcing needs, including project timelines, bid pipelines, and chargeable work allocations. You will be collaborating closely with BD to determine staffing needs and ensure optimal project staffing. You will be developing and implementing workforce planning, understanding project conclusions, and pipeline management. You will oversee CMAP and ensure all resourcing flags and issues are addressed promptly, potentially recruiting for interim staff and Associates using a bank of past Associates and agency recruiters if needed. You will be responsible for coordinating with the relevant departments to ensure timely availability and suitability for projects. You will also be conducting regular assessments of resource performance, productivity and capacity to identify areas for improvement.

Candidate profile/Experience

  • You must have extensive experience in Resource Management gained with a consultancy
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain relationships.
  • Excellent understanding of the resourcing process, from project initiation to conclusion.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and demands simultaneously.
  • Proven track record of managing complex staffing needs and aligning resources to business demands.
  • Strong analytical skills to assess staffing needs and forecast demand.
  • Experience working with consultants from top firms like Deloitte, KPMG, and PWC.
