My clients In-house recruitment team seeks a seasoned Senior Recruiter to join their dynamic and evolving unit. This is a chance to immerse in a complex and intellectually stimulating environment, where the art of headhunting and stakeholder management is paramount.

The team, although relatively new with seven members, is currently operating with five due to long-term sickness. With a portfolio of approximately 60 roles per recruiter and an influx of 30 additional positions on the horizon, the need for a robust and intuitive professional is urgent.

The ideal candidate will possess a proven track record in managing a high volume of roles, preferably within finance sectors outside of banking. Experience in advancement or philanthropy recruitment would be highly advantageous, as the essence of this role involves strategic fundraising through talent acquisition, including international headhunting.

Applicants should be adept at navigating complex organisations and be comfortable with a variety of systems, demonstrating an ability to manage multiple platforms simultaneously. A proactive approach is essential; the team values individuals who seek guidance proactively and offer solutions, rather than enduring challenges in silence.

The role demands a candidate with the confidence and gravitas to engage with senior stakeholders effectively, persuading and, when necessary, pushing back with professionalism. The ability to hit the ground running is crucial, as training will be limited to shadowing and system orientation.While familiarity with Talent Link is beneficial, experience with Workday is also favourable.

The position requires presence in the Kings Cross office on Mondays and Tuesdays, with the flexibility to work from home for the remainder of the week, adhering to core hours from 10 am to 4:30 pm.

Candidates from large, metric-driven, and policy-rich commercial organisations will find themselves at home in this role. Those with a background in banking or retail, or from smaller businesses, may not align with the demands of this challenging yet rewarding environment.

This is a three-month contract with the potential for extension, designed for a highly experienced individual accustomed to sourcing for roles with salaries ranging from £50k to £150k.

The selection process will be swift, with a one-hour, competency-based interview conducted by Daniel and a colleague, either via Teams or in person.
