Employee Relations Specialist
Midlands
Regional Role - onsite across locations in Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Wolverhampton, Derby
This role will be working from home two days per week, on site three days per week
£50,000 - £55,000

Oakleaf Partnership are partnering with a retail business with responsibility across the midlands. This role is a permanent position, and you will be leading on ER across the region - Birmingham, Coventry, Warwick, Wolverhampton, Derby. In this role you will be leading on high level ER and supported by a team of ER Executives on day-to-day ER cases. You will be liaising with senior stakeholders and leadership teams on a daily basis so will be required to work at senior level

The role

In this role you will be accountable for the delivery of expert employee relations advice on the cases that are most significant to the organisation. You will work in partnership with senior stakeholders, determine priority cases and make decisions. As well as this you will work closely with the employment law team and lead on all litigation and settlement agreement strategies. As the ER Specialist you will determine the ER plans required to improve and build on the ER environment within your geography. You will be integral to the wider people team and guide and advice the ER executives and act as approval of litigation and settlement cases to a senior level.

What are we looking for

We are looking for proven ER Specialists who have line manager capability, led on high risk and high-profile cases as well as holding high profile cases. This is a regional role across a retail business so multi-site experience is crucial for this position and ability to be in a store in your geography three times per week. You will have worked either as a HR Business Partner who has strong ER capability or as an ER Specialist. The organisation is going through a period of high change so experience working in a business that has undertaken organisational design previously will be crucial
