HR Manager

HR Manager | £51,045 | Full-time | Permanent | Onsite 4 days a week | Education | North London

Our client is a co-ed, multi-ethnic academy in North London. Due to a resignation they are looking for a well rounded HR Manager to join them on a full time permanent basis.

You will have previous HR experience working in the Education Sector and be happy to be on site 4 days a week

What will you do?

• Develop and implement the HR strategy aligned with the overall business goals.
• Resolve grievances, demands, and other issues between management and employees.
• Managing the recruitment and selection process.
• Provide advice and guidance to ensure compliance with Trust policies and best practices.
• Investigate employee complaints and recommending corrective actions.
• Oversee the school's single central record (SCR) and maintain key employment records.
• Conduct exit interviews and develop retention strategies.
• Support performance management and coaching line managers.

Essential criteria

• Professional qualifications relevant to the post (e.g., CIPD Level 5, Level 7 desirable).
• 2 years experience working in the Education sector in a HR role at advisory level
• Resilience in challenging environments
• Building and mentoring HR teams.
• Proficiency in HR databases
• Strong communication skills.
• Attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines.
• Strong understanding of UK law.
• Successful management experience in recruitment, employee relations, and policy development.
