Learning and Development Manager - 6-9 month FTC

  • £90,000 - £100,000
  • Flexible working - c1/2 days in the office

Are you passionate about fostering growth and development within a dynamic and tech-driven environment? This is a unique chance to shape the future of a 250-person organisation. This membership body is seeking a Learning and Development Manager to join their team on a 6-9 month fixed-term contract.

Role Overview:
The Learning and Development Manager will be pivotal in collaborating with HR Business Partners to devise and implement a robust development & engagement strategy. This role involves setting the strategy for development pathways, identifying necessary skills, and promoting sideways moves within the organisation. The successful candidate will report directly to the Director of HR and work closely with a dedicated HR team, including two HR Business Partners and the Head of Talent Acquisition.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive engagement strategy.
  • Identify and establish technical and non-technical development pathways.
  • Collaborate with HR Business Partners to ensure alignment with organisational goals.
  • Foster a culture where development is not just seen as a promotion or a course but as a continuous journey.

Technical Background:

  • Essential experience in a tech environment, preferably within both large companies and tech start-ups.
  • Strategic Thinking: Proven ability to set and implement strategic initiatives.
  • Engagement Expertise: Strong understanding of engagement strategies and pathways development.Collaborative Approach: Experience working closely with HR teams and senior management.
