Payroll & Benefits Assistant - 12 month FTC - Hybrid - London - up to £50,000 per annum & great benefits


Oakleaf Partnership is delighted to be partnered with a financial services firm, which is seeking a Payroll & Benefits Assistant, on a 12 month FTC basis. You will be assisting the UK & International payrolls, consisting of 250 volume, via a third party provider. The role is responsible for accurate payroll processing and benefits administration and will work closely with internal teams.



The Payroll & Benefits Advisor will be assisting/overseeing duties such as:

  • Creating payroll input reports for each country and working closely with the HR team to collate data
  • Running first checks on Payroll returns from outsourced payroll vendors
  • Creating & posting payroll finance journals
  • Responding to employee payroll queries
  • Acting as the point of contact and subject-matter expert for all payroll, pension and benefit queries from employees
  • Joiner and leaver administration for UK benefit schemes
  • Responding to employee benefit queries
  • Supporting with administration for global benefit schemes, including liaising with local office managers and benefit brokers




Key Skills:

  • Have a minimum of 3 years exposure of UK payroll, global payroll experience is preferred
  • Financial Services/ Professional Services experience desirable
  • Advanced knowledge of Excel
  • Professional outlook when dealing with confidential data
  • Excellent attention to detail and communication
