Oakleaf Partnership are working with a well-established, reputable and ambitious business within the construction industry. They have an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Senior HR Advisor to join and support a small HR team across their multi-site in Driffield. The role will maintain day-to-day people operations whilst driving continuous improvement in their HR practices. It will play a key role in implementing people-focused projects that align with the company's purpose, values and culture. This is a permanent position which requires on-site presence in Driffield.
What is the role?
As the Senior HR Advisor, you will maintain day-to-day people operations and manage an effective employee lifecycle across the site. You will have a strong focus on employee experience, wellbeing and satisfaction in line with company values. You will offer quality support and advice utilising your knowledge of employment law. You will work in partnership with line managers and senior leaders to guide, consult and influence. You will be the point of contact for all complex HR queries, and provide expert advice on policy, procedure and best practice. You will oversee payroll processes, oversee the maintenance and continuous improvement of HR systems, and manage and improve the recruitment process, and oversee the performance review process and provide strategic input.
Candidate profile/experience
The successful candidate will have previous experience in a Senior HR Advisor role, with experience of managing complex employee relations cases. You will have excellent communication skills both written and verbal, and the ability to build effective relationships with people at all levels. You will have previous experience of managing payroll data. You will be used to working in a fast-paced environment with a diverse workforce, with the ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines. Similar industry experience would be advantageous. CIPD Level 5 is desired but not essential.
